Why this image?

On a recent visit to Shanghai, I visited the Greenland Shenhua stadium for my friends at Cambridge Rules 1848. The term shen hua translates as "the Flower of Shanghai" in English – shen is one of the alternative names of Shanghai and hua means flower in Chinese.
